Refund Policy

The short version

  • Unused ad credits are refundable within 30 days of deposit
  • Delivered impressions are non‑refundable (except for platform errors or fraud)
  • Refunds are processed within 7–14 business days to your original payment method

1. Scope

This Refund Policy applies to advertiser deposits and other charges made by users of the Boost Boss advertising platform (boostboss.ai), operated by Hauler Technologies Co., Ltd. It is incorporated by reference into our Terms of Service.

2. Advertiser balance refunds

2.1 Unused balance

Advertisers may request a refund of unused advertising balance (funds deposited but not yet spent on delivered impressions) within 30 days of the original deposit. Unused balance refunds are processed at face value, less any payment processing fees retained by the payment processor (typically 2.9% + USD $0.30 for PayPal).

2.2 Active campaigns

For campaigns currently delivering impressions, refunds will be pro‑rated. Impressions already delivered are non‑refundable; remaining unused budget is eligible for refund per Section 2.1.

2.3 Delivered impressions

Impressions that have been delivered to publishers are non‑refundable, except in the following circumstances:

  • Platform error: ads were served incorrectly due to a Boost Boss system failure
  • Verified ad fraud: impressions were generated by invalid traffic (bots, click farms, incentivized traffic) that bypassed our fraud detection
  • Material misrepresentation: the publisher inventory did not match the inventory description at the time of campaign setup
  • Brand safety violation: ads appeared next to content that violated our Acceptable Use Policy

3. How to request a refund

Include your account email, the transaction ID or date, the amount, and the reason for refund.

We review within 5 business days

Our team will verify the transaction, review delivery records, and respond with a decision.

Approved refunds processed within 7–14 business days

Refunds return to your original payment method (PayPal, credit card, etc.). Bank settlement times vary by jurisdiction.

4. Disputes and chargebacks

If you believe a charge is incorrect, please contact us before initiating a chargeback or dispute with your payment provider. We can usually resolve issues directly within 7 business days.

Important: Initiating a chargeback for transactions you authorized may result in:
  • Immediate account suspension pending review
  • A USD $25 chargeback handling fee
  • Permanent account closure for repeated abuse

5. Publisher payout reversals

Publisher payouts are final once processed. However, we reserve the right to claw back payouts in cases of:

  • Verified ad fraud or invalid traffic generation by the publisher
  • Publisher account violations of the Terms of Service or Publisher Agreement
  • Advertiser chargebacks affecting the underlying transaction
  • Material errors in earnings calculation

Clawbacks will be applied to the publisher's next scheduled payout. If the publisher's balance is insufficient, we may invoice for the recovery amount.

6. Service downtime and SLA credits

We do not currently offer a financial SLA. In the event of significant platform downtime that prevents ad delivery, we may at our discretion issue advertising credit (not cash refunds) to affected accounts.

7. Subscription cancellations

Boost Boss does not currently offer subscription products. All advertiser payments are budget‑based prepayments. If we introduce subscription products in the future, separate cancellation terms will apply and will be communicated to affected users.

8. Currency and processing fees

All amounts on the Services are denominated in USD. Refunds are returned in the original payment currency. Payment processor fees deducted at the time of the original transaction (e.g., PayPal's 2.9% + USD $0.30, currency conversion fees) are non‑refundable.

9. Tax refunds

Where Boost Boss collected applicable taxes (VAT, GST, sales tax) on the original transaction, refunded taxes will be returned proportionally. Tax refund eligibility is subject to the rules of the relevant tax authority.

10. Exceptions

This policy does not apply to:

  • Custom brand deals or enterprise contracts (governed by individual order forms)
  • Services purchased through third parties outside the Boost Boss platform
  • Fees retained by payment processors (PayPal, Payoneer, banks)

11. Changes

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced at least 14 days before they take effect.
